Ning Wang is a choreographer and dancer born in Taipei, Taiwan. Active in the field of contemporary dance, she brings a rich interdisciplinary perspective to her work—collaborating across visual arts, circus, experimental sound, new media, video, and performance art. Her creative partners include international and local artists such as Shu-Yi Chou, Hiroaki Umeda, Choy Ka-Fai, Yu Liu, Alex Schweder & Ward Shelley, and Miet Warlop. ​

Ning’s artistic focus centers on body politics and gender boundaries. She often uses improvisation as both a performance method and a creative tool, with choreography shaped by sensory flow, tactile perception, and texture-based inquiry. Her work moves from individual motion toward collective complexity, reflecting on difference and embodiment. Her performances have appeared at experimental platforms, emerging artist showcases, and international festivals. Ning also facilitates movement and choreography workshops in partnership with art institutions and dance collectives—using thematic improvisation to invite the public into embodied exploration.
