The second phase of the refiguring project, developed collaboratively by choreographer Ning Wang and five dancers, explores the roles and identities constantly attached to the body—such as woman, daughter, mother, and dancer. It examines how these labels shape and limit bodily posture and action, while imagining new possibilities through dance.

The work centers on gaze, treating viewing as a form of power. Performed in an exhibition-style white-box space, audiences move freely, exchanging lines of sight with the dancers. Different viewing distances and angles continuously reshape the relationship between performers and spectators, making the act of watching a reflective experience.

The dancers move slowly, meticulously, and non-linearly, shifting postures between fixation and release, approach and dissolution. Through repetition, inversion, expansion, and connection, the body generates flowing energy. Individual differences are expressed, yet shared bodily experience remains. The piece explores how the body can continually refigure itself within existing modes.

《𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 計畫 #𝟮：五種回應的姿態》為「refiguring 計畫」第二階段創作，由編舞家王甯與五位舞者共同發展。從日常生活中不斷被貼附於身體的角色與形象出發，如女性、女兒、母親與舞者等，檢視這些標籤如何在無形中形塑並限制身體的姿態與行動，並嘗試透過舞蹈重新想像身體的可能性。

 

作品以「凝視」為核心主題，將觀看視為一種權力運作的過程，並納入編舞與空間結構之中。演出於展覽式白盒子空間進行，觀眾可自由移動，與舞者交換視線；不同觀看距離與角度的選擇，使表演者與觀眾的關係在當下被重新配置，觀看本身亦成為一種可被感知與反思的經驗。

 

五位舞者以極慢速、細緻、去線性敘事的身體狀態，呈現姿態在固定與鬆動、靠近與消融之間的轉換。身體在重複、翻轉、擴張與連結中生成流動的能量，在展現個體差異的同時，相似的身體經驗仍得以被共享。此作持續探問身體如何在既有模式之中，保有不斷「重塑」的可能。
